Obituary of Zivka Jovanovski (nee Nedelkovski)

Passed away peacefully on December 11, 2025, at the age of 78, after a courageous battle. Beloved wife to Stojan, for 56 wonderful years. Cherished mother of Sonja Grbevski (Peco) and Dean Jovanovski (Shauna). Proud and devoted Baba of Jessica, Jennifer (Adam), Nicole (Josef), Peter (Emily), Olivia, Ava, Zachary, and great-grandmother of Aksel and Benjamin.

Loving sister of Olga (Strecko), late Zivko (late Mira), Stanko (Nada), and late Branko (Blaga). Dear sister-in-law of late Blagun (late Mira), late Pera (late Bozidar), Ljubo (Pavlina), and Fanka (Spiro).

Zivka and Stojan were the proud owners of Steve and Eddy’s Fish and Chips and Tecumseh Trevi Restaurants, where her hard work and warm hospitality touched countless lives.

Zivka was a woman of remarkable strength and grace, known for her unwavering devotion to her family and her generous spirit. Her kindness touched everyone who knew her, and her hardworking nature was evident in all she accomplished. Outside of her many roles, Zivka found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially tending to her beloved gardens. She took great pride in nurturing her plants, with a special love for her peppers, which flourished under her care and reflected the warmth she brought to every aspect of her life.

The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to the compassionate staff of Aspen Lake on the Walkerville floor, to Dr. Laura Voltic, and to all those whose kindness, care, and unwavering support surrounded Zivka and her loved ones throughout this journey. Your love and generosity will never be forgotten.
