Obituary of Ursula Rose Marie Benoit

Ursula Rose Marie Benoit (nee Savoie)

March 10th, 1925 - December 7th, 2025

Loving mother to Nancy Benoit, pre-deceased by her husband Clifford Benoit (1992) and son David Benoit (2001). Ursula is survived by many caring nieces and nephews.

Ursula retired from Canada Post as soon as Clifford retired from Ford. Together they would vacation yearly in West Palm Florida. Ursula was a life long parishioner and supporter of Ste. Anne’s Church and a 75 year member of the Catholic Women’s League. She was also a 40 year member of R.C. Legion branch 261.

As Ursula aged it would take a village to keep her in her home, the family would like to thank and recognize their efforts. Thank you to Doug Pitre (Sharon), Rose Marceau, Shelley Bobbie (Brian), Gerald and Donna Seegar for bringing Sunday Holy Communion.

Lastly, a special thank you to Debbie Laforet (Dan) for her dedication and countless hours of care over the past few months so that Ursula could remain in her home and to Jeannine Renaud-St. Louis for their care & support of her daughter Nancy. 

A visitation in Ursula honour will be held at Windsor Chapel - Banwell Location (11677 Tecumseh Road East, Windsor, ON) on Sunday, December 14, 2025 from 2 pm to 7 pm. Visiting will continue at Ste. Anne's Church on Monday, December 12, 2025 from 10 am until 11 am with Mass to follow. As per Ursula's wishes, cremation will take place and she will be laid to rest at Ste. Anne's Cemetery at a later date.
