Obituary of Domenica DiMambro

With deep love and profound sadness, the family of Domenica DiMambro announces her peaceful passing on November 29, 2025, at the age of 92, surrounded by those she cherished most. She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Stefano DiMambro (2004), whom she missed dearly.

Domenica was the devoted mother of Carlo DiMambro and Phil (Anita) DiMambro, and the adoring, proud Nonna of Mila, Philip, and Romeo. She is lovingly remembered by her dear brothers Raffaele (late Suzie), Guido (Janice), Tonino (Marisa), and by her cherished sisters Vincenza (late Mario) and Yolanda (late Giuseppe). She is predeceased by her brother Rosino (Antonietta) and her sisters Antonietta (Bruno) and Angelina (Vasile).

Domenica’s warmth, generosity, and unmistakable spirit touched countless lives. She will be deeply missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and lifelong friends across Windsor, Toronto, Michigan, Italy, and England.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the staff and management of Dolce Vita Retirement Home, and an especially sincere thank-you to the compassionate and dedicated team at Huron Lodge, 3rd Floor Magnolia, for their exceptional care and kindness.  

Her legacy of love, strength, and devotion will live on in all who had the privilege of knowing her. 

Family and friends are invited to Windsor Chapel Funeral Home South Chapel, 3048 Dougall Ave., 519-253-7236 for visitation on Tuesday, December 2nd, from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 3rd at 11:oo a.m. in the Chapel. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
