Obituary of Della Dufour (nee Halicki)

Passed away on November 26, 2025, at the age of 102, surrounded by her loving family. Reunited with her beloved husban,d Herby (2009), and her parents, Katherine and Adam Halicki. Loving mother of Scarlet Glovasky (Gerald, 2024), Sandra Sauve (Ron), Nelson Dufour (2015) (MaryLee), and Judy Wilson (Bob). Proud grandma of Patti (Joe), Gerry (Courtney), Katie (Tim), Krysta, Allyson (Derek), Anita (Mike), Aaron (Stacey), Sean (Heather), Sonya, Rachel (Steve), Matthew (Sabrina), and Jessica (Scott). Dearest great-grandma of Greg, Cassandra, Brooke, Maddox, Grayson, Grant, Baron, Kailyn (Kyle), Devin, Krystal, Tyler (Angela), Cody (Tara), Brittany (Resad), Rebecca, Andrew (Isa), Samantha, Liam, Evan, Alyssa, Isabella, Alex, Ethan, Naomi, Gavin, Kole, Olivia, J.R., Sophie, Ryker, Brock, and Curtis. Cherished great-great-grandmother of Adeline, Eli, Elena, Maeve, Ariella, and Alina. Survived by sister Frances Emslie, and predeceased by siblings Laura, Phyllis, Adam, John, Mary, Nellie, Alphonse, Zigmund, Julie, Teddy, Eleanor and Baby Victoria, as well as many Dufour Family. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Della had a successful career with Green Giant until her retirement after many years of service. The family would like to thank the staff of Brouillette Manor, where they became her second family.

Visitation will take place at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME – BANWELL CHAPEL, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519-253-7235) on Sunday, November 30, 2025, from 2-4 pm. Visitation will continue at St. Anne’s Church (12233 Tecumseh Rd. E.) on Monday, December 1, 2025, from 10:00 am until Funeral Mass at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at St. Anne’s Cemetery.
