Obituary of Ivan Culumovic

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Ivan Culumovic at the age of 83. He is reunited with his parents Stipe and Manda (née Pocrnic) Culumovic. Survived by his loving wife Mira and caring daughter Maria. Beloved brother to the late Josip (late Manda), late Milan (Stefica), dear cousin to the late Petar (late Ana), late Josip (Dragica), late Ivica (Marija), Jure (Ana), late Ivan (late Manda), Duke (Laura). He will be deeply missed by his nieces Mirna, Anna, late Kathy, Josephine, and Ana, as well as their families. Ivan will also be missed by many friends and family across Canada and Croatia.

Ivan enjoyed gardening, watching hockey and horse racing, and was an avid soccer fan. He lived his life with simplicity, good will and generosity. He was a gentle soul and the kindest man

Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home - Banwell Chapel (11677 Tecumseh Rd. E, 519-253-7235) on Thursday November 27th, 2025 from 4-8pm, with parish prayers at 7pm. Visitation will continue at Windsor Chapel Banwell on Friday from 9am until 9:30, then processing to St. Francis of Assisi (1701 Turner Rd, Windsor, ON) for the funeral Mass at 10:30am. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Donations may be made to the St. Francis of Assisi Church Building Fund or to a charity of your choice.
