Obituary of Cheryle Linda Prentice (nee Roberts)

With saddened hearts the family of Cheryle Prentice announce her passing on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at the age of 76. Beloved wife of the late Philip "Jim" Prentice. Loving mother of Jennifer Songal-Diett (Adrian) and Scott Prentice. Cherished sister of Elizabeth “Betty” O’Brien (late Jake), and the late Arthur “Abe” Lincoln (Gloria), and dear sister-in-law to many. She will be deeply missed by her beloved dogs Evie and Daisy. She is predeceased by her parents Clifford and Evelyn Roberts and in-laws Philip and Margaret Prentice. A heartfelt thank you to Phyllis Prentice and Barb Steptoe for their compassionate care during Cheryle’s final weeks. Cheryle was a devoted nurse for many years, serving with dedication at the IODE Hospital and the Malden Park Centre. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Cheryle’s life will take place at a later date. Donations in her memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Humane Society of Windsor Essex County.
