Obituary of Kenneth Peltier
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kenneth Francis Peltier, who left this world peacefully on November 10, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on May 11, 1949, in Windsor, Kenneth lived a life filled with love, laughter, and a deep commitment to his family and community.
Kenneth was the cherished son of Raymond and Evelyn Peltier (Nee Bausoleil), who precede him. He is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of 52 years, Debra Peltier (nee Digou), with whom he shared a beautiful bond that began on June 16, 1973, at St. Thomas the Apostle Church. Together, they built a warm and loving home where their two children, Christopher (Alicia) and Jillian (Chris), thrived. Kenneth took immense pride in his role as a father and was a doting grandfather to his beloved grandchildren, Marshall and Sullivan, who brought immeasurable joy to his life.
Kenneth dedicated 35 years of his life to serving his community through his work with Canada Post, where he was known for his kindness and reliability. His gentle nature and easy-going personality made him a friend to many and a beloved member of the Tecumseh community.
An avid biking enthusiast, Kenneth found joy in the simple pleasures of life, including watching boats and attending car shows. He was a proud member of the Windsor Model Yacht Club and the Tecumseh Slow Riders, where he shared his love for the outdoors and formed lasting friendships.
Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents-in-law, Roland and Evelyn Digou, who welcomed him into their family with open arms and love. He leaves behind a legacy of loyalty, compassion, and a commitment to family that will resonate through the lives of those he touched.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the Dialysis Team - Dr. Bagga, as well as Dr. Mikhail, and the staff at Windsor Hospice, who provided exceptional care and support during Kenneth's illness.
