Obituary of Mihail Potra

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Mihail Potra, at the age of 67. He is reunited with his parents Gheorge and Elena Potra. Mihail was a devoted husband to his wife Minerva for 40 years, loving father to his sons Florian and Mihai (Amanda), caring Moșu to his granddaughters Amelia and Aria, dear brother to Gabriela and uncle to Dan, Calin and their families. He will be deeply missed by his sister in law Elena and her kids Gabriela, Mihai and Nini, as well as many friends.

Mihail moved from Romania to Canada with his family in 1996. He was an ambitious business owner and entrepreneur in both countries. Mihail dedicated many years to working at Ford as a mechanical engineer. He loved watching soccer and Formula 1 Racing.

A visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home - Banwell Chapel On Saturday November 1st from 6-8pm, with prayers at 7pm officiated by V. Rev. Fr. George Sandulescu. Cremation to follow.
