Obituary of John Wolf

With broken hearts we announce the passing of John Wolf at age 95. Beloved husband of Elsie for 73 years. Dear father of Vicki Baumert (Frank, 2012). Loving Grandfather of Amanda and Natalie. Cherished Great-Grandfather of Riley and Spencer. Survived by his sister Theresa Wiegand of St. Louis, Missouri. John was an architectural draftsman with Giffels Associates for some 25 years. He was job captain on many major construction sites, notably the Windsor Raceway, Harrow Research Centre, Guelph Animal Care, Sarnia Hospital, the DEW Line across the top of Canada, and Chrysler dealerships in Western Ontario. He thereafter joined St. Clair College teaching architectural drafting for over 20 years. Upon retiring, he was an avid and talented woodworker and excelled at the art of marquetry. Visitation to take place at Windsor Chapel Central- 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E, Windsor (519-253-7234) on Monday, November 3, 2025 from 1:00pm-3:00pm and 5:00pm until time of Chapel Service at 6:30pm. At Johns request cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to a charity of your choice. The Wolf Family requests all guests attending to be dressed casual.
