Obituary of Theodore Krigel
Ted Passed away peacefully at the age of 93, on October 26, 2025. Predeceased by his beloved wife Jeanie (Nee Morton). Loving Tato (Father) and role model to Erik Krigel and Shanya Krigel-Belanger and her husband Paul Belanger. Loving grandfather to Alexander Theodore Kidd Krigel and Natasha Mara Geraldine Krigel. Predeceased by his sisters, Lydia Segodnia (Ted) and Josephine Farkas (Charlie). Weeko to Judy Phillipson, Teddy Segodnia, Bill Farkas, Chuck Farkas and Susan Farkas.
Theodore was a member of the Windsor Lawn Bowling Club, he enjoyed Pickle Ball and was an avid Tennis Player and Gymnast. He also played soccer for the Ukrainian Club in Detroit during the 1950’s and continued his love with the sport by coaching many soccer teams in Windsor. Theodore was a very giving person and supported many Charitable Organizations in the Windsor and Essex County area, as well as the Ukrainian Credit Union in support of Ukraine. His Ukrainian heritage was of great importance to him, and Ted was deeply involved in the Ukrainian community in Windsor.
At the family’s request there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place. Donations to Erie Shores Hospice, CNIB, Windsor and Essex County Humane Society or Multiple Sclerosis (MS) would be appreciated by the family.
