Obituary of Michael Smith

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael Smith on October 14, 2025.

Beloved husband and best friend to his soulmate Robin for 45 beautiful years. He was the son of the late Alfred Smith and the late Margaret “Peggy” Smith (nee. Dixon). Predeceased by his sister Heather. Brother in law to the late John Ponic (Lynn), Donna Mugan, Richard Ponic (Gregory), the late Laura Perron (Al) and Mary Oglan.

He enjoyed watching sports especially the Detroit Lions. He enjoyed listening to music, his albums, and CD’s. At the request of the family, Cremation has taken place. If you so desire donations to the Windsor Essex County Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
