Obituary of Jim Menzies

I, Karey Menzies am announcing the loss of the love of my life, James Harrison Menzies on October 19, 2025 at the age of 77.

Jim leaves behind his cherished children Robert (Michelle) Menzies and Robin McKeown. Beloved grandchildren Noah Menzies, Molly and Max McKeown.  He also leaves behind his fur child Piper.

He is predeceased by his beloved parents James and Marion Menzies, as well as siblings Marion Theaker, Doreen Barclay (Wilfred), and Marjorie Russell. Jim held a special place in his heart for my parents Rose and Jack Winter.

Jim worked as an accountant and owned several businesses which he was very proud of. He loved spending time up north in the Muskoka’s, where we enjoyed many summers. His greatest love was his children, grandchildren and of course travel. Jim’s favourite place to go was his homeland “Scotland” but enjoyed going to Alaska, Ireland and many other beautiful places.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Windsor Essex Cancer Centre Foundation.

A memorial visitation will be held Friday, October 24, 2025 at Windsor Chapel - Banwell Location from 2 pm – 4 pm and 6 pm – 9 pm. Words of remembrance will be held at 7:30 pm.
