Hi Mario, I was just a child when I heard my parents saying, here it is Mario is back from Canada. As soon as you arrived you came to our house in Rome. Last time we were all together to see the Colosseum. Then unfortunately in recent years we have lost contact, but we all have good memories of you. We wish you a good trip, the Italian family.

We at the Downtown Mission were so saddened to hear about the passing of a dear volunteer and friend of the Mission for several years, Mario Onorato. Mario was one of the sweetest, gentlest, generous men we had the absolute privilege of knowing and working alongside with for quite some time. He'll forever be remembered for making our former location at 664 more beautiful, especially with the planting of and tending to his beautiful sunflowers as well as the upkeep of the gardens there and then for helping make our location at 875 nicer for all by coming and sweeping up around our Parking Lots. ALWAYS though, regardless of what he was doing, he had a smile for everyone and a kind greeting to all he came in contact with. You will be greatly missed kind Sir! We wish you a joyful return Home and hope you will be watching over all of us at the Mission from time to time. To Mario's friends and family, you are all in our thoughts and prayers friends. God bless you all!
