Obituary of Lorraine Rita Mailloux

It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Lorraine Rita Mailloux (née Hammer) at the Village of Aspen Lake on Sunday, October 12, at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late Armand Mailloux (2012). Cherished mother of Arnold (the late Wendy) (Ruby Brown) and Annabelle Ouellette. Predeceased by her dear children Anita (Roy) Dickie and Alan. Loving grandmother of Jordan, Pamela (Robert), Zachary, and Nicholas. Predeceased by her parents Rolly and Mary Louise Hammer. Dear sister of Helen (the late Remi) St. Pierre, and predeceased by siblings Paul, Theresa, Cecilia, and Leo. Lorraine will also be lovingly remembered by her sisters-in-law Theresa and Agnes, and is predeceased by Margaret, Roland, Arsene, Alice, and Evelyn. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Her gentle heart, steadfast love for her family, and quiet strength will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her. Visitation will take place at Windsor Chapel (Banwell Chapel), 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E., Windsor, on Wednesday, October 15, from 2–4 p.m. and 6–8 p.m., with prayers at 7:30 p.m. Cremation will follow, with a private family interment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery at a later date. Donations made in memory of Lorraine to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
