Obituary of Joel Thomas Hughes

It is with great sadness we share the passing of Joel Hughes, who left us on September 27th, 2025. Joel leaves behind many family members and friends who are grieving his loss.

In his clearest days, Joel was a son who truly wished to make his parents proud – Cathi Fram (late Phil) and Paul Hughes (Lynda).

He was a brother who always spoke highly of his siblings and would have done anything to protect them - Jennifer Roy (Serge), Jessica Hughes (Joe), Colleen Thompson (Marty), Lisa McCubbin (Dave), Rob Fram (Ginger), Shannon Golla (late Chris), Jennifer Golla, and Keith Golla (Katie).

He was an uncle to many wonderful nieces and nephews, who will sadly never fully know the depth of his humour and kindness.

The Joel we all knew and loved was selfless, witty and full of life. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Family and friends will be received at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home - Central Chapel (1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234) on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 from 11am - 1pm, with a funeral service at 1pm.
