Obituary of Rosa Verardi (nee Mannarino)

The matriarch of the family has been called to be a special angel at the age of 78. A caring and loving wife to her husband Achille of 57 years. Mother to Angelo (Angela), Elizabeth-Rose, Jo-Ann and Salvatore. Nonna (Nana) to Antonios-Joseph (AJ), Helana, Joe, Isabella, John Achille and Vittoria. Predeceased by her parents Salvatore and Anna Mannarino, and her in-laws Angelo and Giovanna Verardi.

Rosa had a successful career with TD Bank for over 45 years. She loved to cook and nourish the family with her homemade meals (especially her meatballs) and enjoyed having the family around. Rosa had a love of music, books, sports and continuous learning. She had an extensive collection of pens, which she would collect wherever she went. Above all, her grandchildren were her pride and joy.

The family would like to thank the Nurses at WRH - Met Campus, 4th floor and ICU, as well as the staff at Hospice Windsor and St. Elizabeth for all their dedicated care and compassion.

Visitation will take place at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME - BANWELL CHAPEL, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519-253-7235) on Sunday, September 28, 2025, from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Parish Prayers at 4:30 pm. Visitation will continue on Monday, September 29, 2025, from 9 am until time of the procession at 9:30 am for Funeral Mass at 10:00 am at Our Lady of the Atonement Parish. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
