Obituary of Pierre Asselin

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Pierre Joseph Remi Asselin at his home on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at the age of 60.

Pierre was a devoted father to Jordan Asselin and was a beloved son of Raynald Asselin and the late Pierrette Paré. He will be missed by his girlfriend Christine Ricker and Jordan's mother, Cindy Nicholson.  He will be lovingly remembered by his siblings Bianca Asselin, Herman Asselin, and Claudine (Ken) Soulliere. Pierre will also be deeply missed by his nephews Alex (Melanie), Karl, Raphael, Samuel (Coco), Joshua, and Noah.

Pierre dedicated many years as the proud owner of Asselin Collision, where his hard work and service touched countless people in the community. Outside of work, he found joy in life’s adventures-especially motorcycles, hunting, fishing, and he was extremely creative and passionate about his creations.  

Family and friends will be received at Windsor Chapel (Banwell Chapel), 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E., on Saturday, September 27, from 1-4 p.m., 6-8 p.m and Sunday September 28 from 12:30-1:30pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, September 28, at 1:30 p.m., with cremation to follow.

As expressions of sympathy, donations made in Pierre’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.

Pierre will be remembered for his strong spirit, his love for the outdoors, and the many lives he touched with kindness and generosity. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
