Obituary of Michael Richard O'Mara

Michael Richard O’Mara passed away peacefully on September 9, 2025, with his family by his side, at Windsor Regional Hospital - Ouellette Campus, at the age of 62. Beloved husband of the late Michelle O’Mara (née Mitchell, 2017). Son of Wally (Terry) Cushing. Loving father of James (Chawntel), Kody, Kelsey (Dustin), and Eric (Lauren). Proud grandfather of Peyton, Hunter, Abel, Noah, Braxton, Hudson, Olivia, Zoey and Cruz.

Michael was a devoted employee of Chrysler and a proud member of Unifor Local 444. He also ran his own successful cleaning business. Known for his hard work, loyalty, and generosity, Michael always made time for the things he loved most: being out on the water boating and riding his Seadoo, and spending time with his family and of course, Sam and Dizzy.

At Michael's request, cremation has taken place. Memorial Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel - Banwell Chapel, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E., Windsor, on Monday, September 15, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:30 p.m., followed by a chapel service at 4:30 p.m.

Donations in memory of Michael may be made to the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation in memory of his late wife and would be greatly appreciated by the family.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
