Obituary of Nikola Trpkovski

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nikola Trpkovski, who left us on August 31, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on May 11, 1948, in Macedonia, Nikola was a remarkable individual whose life was marked by love, hard work, and an unwavering dedication to his family.

Nikola was the beloved son of Slave and Cveta Trpkovski. He was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Koca Trpkovski (nee Filipovski), and his dear sisters, Zorka (Tovde) and Boza (Tome). Nikola's legacy continues through his beloved children, daughter Julie Trpkovski and son Lubisa Trpkovski (Janice), as well as his cherished grandchildren, Luca and Maksim. He also leaves behind many extended family and friends who will remember him fondly.

Nikola spent much of his life working diligently at Ford Motor Company where he proudly established his coffee club enjoying coffee with his friends. Nikola was especially proud of his children and grandchildren, always eager to attend Luca and Maksim’s soccer games and listen to their stories, celebrating every achievement no matter how small.

Nikola was a man of many passions. He loved gardening; finding  joy in nurturing vegetable plants and watching them flourish. He loved spending time with his family and enjoying a cup of Tim Hortons coffee. A sports enthusiast, he also enjoyed watching football, hockey, soccer and tennis.

Family and friends will be received at the Windsor Chapel – Banwell (11677 Tecumseh Rd. East, Windsor, ON) on Thursday, September 4, 2025 from 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm with prayers at 7:30 pm. On Friday, September 5, 2025 family and friends are to gather at Windsor Chapel – Banwell at 10 am and then to make our way to St. Nicholas Macedonian Orthodox Church (5225 Howard Ave, LaSalle, ON) for the Funeral Service at 11 am. The Very Rev. Fr. Emil Atanasov officiating. Burial is to take place at Windsor Memorial Gardens where he is to be laid to rest besides his beloved wife Koca.
