Obituary of Bill Slavik

It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Bill Slavik on August 30, 2025 at the age of 67.

Beloved husband of 48 years to Pat Slavik. Loving father of Kevin (Jennifer) and the late Kyle (1996). Cherished Papa of Tristan, Colin, Talia, Kyle and Lauren. Adored son of the late Bill and Helen Slavik. Dear brother of Mary Ann (Gary), Cathy and Christine (Steve).  

He will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Bill founded Bill’s Automotive Service in 1985, he served the community with hard work and dedication for many years before passing his legacy off to his son Kevin in 2017. Above all else Bill enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandkids.

The family would like to thank the many dedicated and caring doctors and health professionals from The Windsor Cancer Clinic, Hospice of Windsor and Paramed, who went above and beyond when providing care to Bill. We are extremely grateful for all your care and compassion.

Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel- South 3048 Dougall Avenue (519-253-7236), on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 from 2:00 pm- 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm- 9:00 pm.
