I have good memories when I visited the family in Canada. Mirko was always smiling and welcoming us during our stay, taking care of others. My sincere condolences to the family.

It was the best childhood- piling into the Kolic blue station wagon, soccer balls and kids in the back, Ford Test Track, sunny beach days, winter card and pizza nights with the best Christmas and New Year Celebrations…we were truly blessed to spend that precious time together. Stricek Mirko’s kind character and sense of humour always made him super cool. As kids we were so lucky to find each other as family. Our deepest condolences to Teta Renata, Danny and Teresa, Belinda and Marc, Beba and Mike and to all the grandkids and Kolic family. Our hearts break with this loss…Eso, Bira, Melissa i Steve

Our sincere condolences to the Kolic families. In moments like these words often fall short, but we hold on to the memories and laughter shared throughout the years which I have a lot of them growing up through the soccer years. To Dan and family, I’m so sorry to hear this sad news. I will always remember Mirko As a kind man willing to teach with a great sense of humor. I always look back on our days with Windsor Vizas and F.C. National fondly. Lots of great times and awesome memories. It’s so hard to find right words to say how sorry we are to hear that our friend Mirko was called home by our heavenly father . Our condolences to Renata , all 3 Mirko’s children , grandchildren and rest of fam. We shared many great moments together on “ our zemljište” and Croatia games . We will miss him soooo.. much , his “allways “ smiling face and genereos heart . Sending love to his family all the way from Croatia and prayers for Mirko’s beautiful soul to God . My deepest condolences to the Kolic family. I remember Mirko as a wise man whose strength of character was only surpassed by the size of his heart. I’m grateful for his coaching during my time with the Vizas and the Windsor F.C Nationals. He will be missed, though always remembered. Rest in peace Mirko. Andrea Pontoni

Dear Renata and family, Leo and I send our sincere condolences to everyone in the family. I was blessed to be his niece. My husband, Leo, and I loved visits to Windsor to enjoy time with Mirko and family. Mirko was always smiling with a positive, happy-go-lucky personality. Anyone who met Mirko was immediately at ease and felt his kindness. He was happy and interested in fixing anything. He enjoyed checking out Google to learn how to create, fix or re-design things. Mirko loved Renata, his wife. Mirko loved his family. He loved his home and all the nature there. He was proud of his Croatian heritage and Canadian citizenship. Dear family, may God give you strength at this difficult time. May happy memories give you some comfort. Mirko will be in our hearts forever. With much love, Vera and Leo
