Obituary of Caterina "Cathy" De Luca

Passed away peacefully, surrounded be her loving family at the age of 70, on August 19, 2025. Reunited with her beloved husband, Giuseppe “Joe” (2004). Cherished and loved mother of Bernadette Graziano (Jerry), Melinda Vecera (Michael) and Anthony De Luca. Proud and devoted Nonna of Alessandro, Silvana, Luca, and Gionah. Predeceased by her parents Damiano and Maria Accardo. Dear sister of the late Tina Macaluso, Franca Amato (Peter), Josie Caradonna (late Jack), and 7 siblings in Italy. She will also be missed by many in-laws of the De Luca Family. Cathy will be missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Cathy was a devoted lifelong member of the Caboto Club Women’s Auxiliary, where she found joy and purpose in community. She took great pride in cooking and baking, especially for cherished family gatherings, where her kitchen became the heart of the home. Above all, she adored her grandchildren, who brought endless light and love into her life.

Visitation will take place at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME - BANWELL CHAPEL, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519-253-7235) on Sunday, August 24, 2025, from 4-7 pm. Funeral Service will take place on Monday, August 25, 2025, at 10:00 am in the Chapel. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
