Obituary of Katherine Duguay-Taylor

It is with a heavy heart we announce the peaceful passing of Kathy Duguay-Taylor on August 17th surrounded by her family.

Kathy leaves behind her beloved children, Renee Grenier (Joe Grenier), Denis Duguay (Darlene Duguay), Gabe Miller (Kurt Miller), Dan Duguay, Mark Duguay (Faith Duguay), Trevor Duguay; her step children Shannon (Shantal), Tamara, and Rachel. She also leaves behind 17 grandchildren, Michael (Sarah), Ryan (Cassie), Brandon, Katie (Anthony), Madison (Justin), Jolayne (Shawn), Alexandria (Alex), Cody, Sadie (Michael), Amanda (Drew), Ashley, Jesse (Stephanie), Dustin (Jennelle), Chelsea (Jeremy), Emma, Clint, Ben. She also leaves 18 great grandchildren, Ethan, Emma, Logan, Everleigh, Ainsley, Jonah, Cohen, Ezra, Zofia, Xavier, Arthur, Alastair, Adela, Taylor, Austin, Freya, Ari, and Aspen.

Kathy was born in Detroit, Michigan and graduated from All Saints school. Her career was homemaker and bank teller at Motor City Credit Union. Kathy had a great sense of humor and never missed an opportunity to play with the grandchildren and great grandchildren. As a retiree she enjoyed golfing, travelling, card games, an occasional trip to the Casino, and being with family. Family was everything to her.

Kathy lived at Seasons Belle River for the last two years where she enjoyed the community and the activities. We want to thank Seasons for the wonderful care at the end of her life.

Visitation will take place at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home - Banwell Chapel, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519-253-7235), on Monday, August 25, 2025, from 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm with prayers at 7 pm. The Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Ste. Anne’s Parish, 12233 Tecumseh Rd E. (519) 735-2182 at 11 am. As per Kathy’s wishes cremation is to take place.
