Obituary of Bonnie Laforet

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Bonnie Lee Laforet on August 16, 2025, at Sun Parlor Home for Senior Citizens in Leamington, at the age of 73.

Beloved wife of Randy Laforet. Loving mother of Jackie (Justin) Couvillon and Ryan Laforet. Cherished grandmother of Ava and Hanna, who brought immense joy to her life.

Bonnie will be deeply missed by her sister Carol (late Ron) Trudell, and she is predeceased by her brothers Larry (surviving Kathy) Laur and Terry Laur. She will also be remembered by her sisters- and brothers-in-law Dennis, Joanne, and the late Gerry (surviving Karen) Laforet. A special aunt to Jim and the late Tammy, Bonnie’s love extended to her nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Known for her warm spirit and generous heart, Bonnie had a deep love of music—especially pop and rock ’n’ roll—and she delighted in baking for her family, creating lasting memories around the table. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and devotion to her family.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Windsor Chapel Banwell Chapel, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E., Windsor, on Thursday, August 21, 2025, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. for visitation. Cremation will follow.

In memory of Bonnie, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Windsor-Essex would be appreciated by the family.
