Obituary of Eugene Lawrence Lessard

We are sad to announce that Eugene “Larry” Lessard passed away on August 17th, 2025 at the age of 88. Dear son of the late Eugene and Madeleine Lessard, he is also predeceased by his brothers Richard (2002 and Louella 2023), and Norman (2000). Dearest uncle of Larry (Laura), Bob (Johann), Jim (Glenda), Rick (Roxanne), Len (Gisele), Sharlene (Mike), and Penny. Great uncle to Rob (Jody), Christine, Glen (Crystal), Kim (Scott), James (Kardyn), Corey, Bradley (Katherine), Sherie, Jenifer (Jonathan), Lisa (Dave), Michael, Shantel (John), and Brooke. Great, great uncle to Jordan, Colton, McKenna, Kayla, Hailey, Ethen, Alanna, Brayden, Avery, Taylor, R.J., Ryelynn, Emma, Zachary, Lucas, Kylee and Kayden. Even though he was born in Windsor, he was a great fan of Toronto and taught high school there for most of his life. We would like to thank all the staff at Heron Terrace, especially those on Bird’s View Lane, for the care that our uncle received. Arrangements have been entrusted to Windsor Chapel Funeral Home - Banwell Chapel (11677 Tecumseh Rd. E, 519-253-7235). As per his request, he has already been cremated and will have a private burial.
