Obituary of Patricia Ann Horwath

Peacefully, surrounded by her family, Patricia Ann Horwath (née Nantais) passed away on Monday, August 4, 2025, at Peoplecare Oakcrossing Nursing Home in London, Ontario, at the age of 89.

Beloved wife of the late John D. Horwath. Cherished mother of Leslie (Patti) Horwath of London and Jennifer Horwath (Dave White) of Hamilton. 

Step-grandma to Adam (Stephanie) and Nate (Alicia) and step great-grandma to Spencer, Bradley, and Jazlyn.  Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Predeceased by her siblings Gordon (Anita), Geraldine, Dorothy (Bill), Eleanor (Mel), Gail, and beloved dog Sheba.

Pat loved doing crosswords, cryptograms, jigsaw puzzles, and enjoyed reading, and artistic pursuits such as colouring and painting.  She adored old movies and with a razor sharp memory could answer any Silver Screen edition Trivial Pursuit question.  Mom cared deeply for those around her and though quiet, could surprise with her quick wit.

Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Banwell Chapel, 11677 Tecumseh Rd E. in Windsor on Friday August 8 from 10:00am until the service time at 11:00am.  A private interment will take place at Heavenly Rest Cemetery in Windsor, Ontario.

In her quiet strength, deep love for family, and gentle spirit, Pat leaves behind a legacy that will be forever held in the hearts of those who knew her.
