Obituary of Cecile Marie Reeve (nee Girard)

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved and giving mother, Cecile Marie who passed away peacefully in her sleep at Y. Emara Centre on July 31, 2025 at the age of 93. She will be dearly missed by her children Gail Reaume (Steve), Karen Streeter (Dale), Sandie Reeve, Trisha Reeve, Susan Reeve, also reunited with son Keith Reeve (2012) and Kenneth Reeve (predeceased husband & father 1985).

Proud Grandmother of 16 Grand Children, 19 Great Grandchildren with one on the way.

Survived by brother Ernest (Buck), predeceased by sisters Leah, Rosie, Rena, Irene, Yvonne, Alice, and brothers Wilfred, Remi, Gerald. Will also be missed by several nieces and nephews.

In Cecile’s last couple of years living at Chartwell Oak Park LaSalle, she enjoyed Bingo with friends, loved doing her puzzles, and adored the nurses who cared for her, along with several staff members.

Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – South Chapel, 3048 Dougall Avenue (519-253-7236) on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m.  Funeral services will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at 11:00 a.m.  Interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
