Obituary of Marilena Muzzin

MUZZIN (nee. Moret), Marilena

It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of a loving Wife, Mother, Nonna, and Bisnonna, on July 12, 2025 surrounded by her loving family at the age of 87. Daughter of the late Domenic and Santina Moret (nee. Ferrano). Reunited with her beloved Husband Sergio Muzzin (2011). Loving and devoted Mother to Joseph ‘Joe’ Muzzin (Angela) and Myra Muzzin. Cherished Nonna to Alan Muzzin (Jocelyn Skelton), Dale Muzzin (Amanda), Conner Postlethwaite, and Celina Bourque (Trevor). Adored Bisnonna to Sloan Muzzin, Kylie Muzzin, Bastian Muzzin, Nathan Muzzin, and Jayce Bourque. She will be deeply missed by her nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends in Canada and Italy. Marilena was a dedicated Mother who spent her days taking care of her children and family. Visitation to take place Wednesday, July 16, 2025 from 2:00pm-5:00pm and 7:00pm-9:00pm, parish prayers at 7:30pm at Windsor Chapel Central 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234. Funeral Mass on Thursday, July 17, 2025 at 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home then in procession to St. Alphonsus Church 85 Park St. E for Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. At Marilena’s request, cremation to follow. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to The Hospice of Windsor and Essex-County Inc. would be appreciated.
