Obituary of Randy Hines

Passed away peacefully on July 3, 2025, at the age of 71. Reunited with his beloved parents, Helen and Clarence. Cherished brother of Leona Lampron (2022) (Leo, 1997) and Barbara Lampron (2025) (André). Dear uncle of Debbie Letwin (John), Kimberley Alice, Katherine Deschamps (Christopher), and Tiffany Brennan (Jeremy). Proud great-uncle of Jenna, Kerwin (Kitty), Guenevere, Rowan, Sawyer, Ephrim, Hannah, and Calin, and great-great-uncle of Amelia. Randy will be deeply missed by many extended family members and friends, especially by his 2 furry companions, Charlie and Tucker.

He began his career as a Registered Mechanic in the United States before returning home to Windsor, where he worked at Ford Motor Company for over 20 years until his retirement. Randy loved the outdoors, especially tending to his vegetable gardens. He had a special place in his heart for animals, especially dogs. Known affectionately as “Mr. Fix-It,” he had an unmatched talent for repairing, building, and solving just about anything. If Randy couldn’t fix it, no one could. Always generous with his time and ready to lend a hand, Randy’s larger-than-life presence and kind heart left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

Visitation will take place at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home - Banwell Chapel, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E, (519-253-7235), on Friday, July 11, 2025, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Words of Remembrance will be shared at 6:00 p.m. Cremation to follow.
