Obituary of Regis Joseph Masse

It is with broken hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Regis Joseph Masse, surrounded with the love of his family on Friday, June 27th, 2025 at the age of 82.

Loving husband and partner of over 55 years to Marian (nee Soulliere). Cherished father of David and Jacqueline (Roger) of Ontario and Regis Jr. and Michael of Alberta. Beloved Grandpa of 7 and great-grandpa of 5. Dear brother to Pat, Donna, and Irene. Reunited with siblings Gen, Yvonne, Pauline, Eileen, Shirley, Barbara, Sylvia, Don, Orval, and Leonard. Dear brother-in-law of Girard, Bill, and Margaret. Reunited with in-laws Raymond, Ernie Jr, and Madeline. Also reunited with parents Napoleon and Irene (nee Marchand) and parents-in-law Ernest Sr. and Irene (nee Marchand). Regis will be greatly missed by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Regis’s big heart and many talents helped family and friends either by fixing their vehicles, helping them with a project, supplying them with a tool or a part he conveniently had in his garage. There was not a motor Regis couldn’t fix. Regis’s sense of humour that sometimes would only make himself laugh but would put a smile on many faces. If you met Regis you loved him.

We would like to thank the Leamington Mennonite Home Staff for all the compassion and love that Regis received the past 6 years. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Society.

Visitation will be held at the Windsor Chapel Banwell Location, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E in Windsor on Thursday, July 3, 2025 from 2 pm to 5 pm and 7 to 8:40 pm. As per Regis’s wishes cremation will take place. Online condolences can be made at  http://www.windsorchapel.com.
