Dear Dennis, Fred, Joseph, Elizabeth,Chris, Diane, Lisa and families, our family extends our condolences and prayers as you deal with this great loss...JoAnne was a dear childhood friend of my late mother, Teresa. My Mom always looked forward to the lunches and time she shared with JoAnne and Jill and Gio, and her face lit up when regailing the stories of their shenanigans! I will always remember the joy that JoAnne brought to my mother's life.Theirs was a "fairy tale" freindship, a friendship that endured for 82 years, begining around 1939 (when they were 6 years old, nieghbours and classmates), and lasting until my Mom passed away at age 88. The stories of their entwined lives formed part of our family legends: like when as children they noticed an unattended railway hand cart and ran it up and down the tracks in the railyard until the yard workers noticed, and they ran away giggling....Mom told me of many adventures they shared together through thier childhood, adolescence, and adulthood and I began to understand JoAnne was more than just a freind, really a sister to my Mom...I will always be grateful and thankful for the blessing of JoAnne's presence in my Mom's life. She made my Mom's life better....I'm pretty sure that Heaven will be a little more boisterous now that JoAnne is there with Jill and Gio and Mom. God Bless You JoAnne, and may you find peace and comfort and happiness in the warmth of His Loving Embrace.....
