Obituary of Terry Wilbur

Terry Wilbur was taken from us too soon on Monday, May 19th, just a few weeks shy of his 70th birthday. He is survived by his loving children, Ryan Wilbur (Lindsay) and Brent Wilbur (Jessica), and by his six cherished grandchildren: Lucas, Gavin, Zachary, Emmett, Vivienne, and Dylan Wilbur.

Terry was the beloved son of the late Harold Wilbur and Marcelline and Bert Huey, and one of six siblings in a family rooted in love and faith.

He had a deep love for life’s simple pleasures-fishing, golfing, and playing cards-but what truly brought him joy was entertaining others. Whether sharing a laugh, telling a story, or hosting a gathering, Terry had a special way of making people feel welcome and at ease.

Terry will be remembered most for his generous and giving nature. He went far out of his way to help others-even those he barely knew-always offering a hand, a ride, a meal, or a kind word when it was needed most. His kindness and compassion reflected a quiet, steadfast faith and a deep belief in caring for others.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 2-6 pm at Par 72 Golf Lounge (400 Arnold St, Wallaceburg, ON N8A 3P5). All are welcome to join in remembering and honouring Terry’s life. May he rest in peace, reunited with loved ones in God’s care.
