It is with profound sadness and deep love that we announce the passing of our cherished mother, nonna and bisnonna on May 16, 2025 at the age of 92.
She was the heart and foundation of our family, a loving, selfless, wise and strong woman whose grace touched every person she encountered.Her support was constant, her guidance unwavering and her sacrifices countless to make sure we had everything in life. She was very proud of her children’s and grandchildren’s accomplishments as their success brought her great joy.
Reunited in heaven with her beloved husband Carmine (1978) and parents Rosina (2011) and Carmine (1991) Spagnuolo.
Loving mother to Ornella (2021) (Frank), Aldo Borrelli (Nives), Linda (Dr. Robert De Rose) and Diana (Dr. Franco Coscarella).
Proud and adoring nonna to Mary Ciampa (Frank), Dr. Melissa Kidd (Dave), Carmine Borrelli (Angela), Dr. Gennaro Coscarella (Laura), Brandon Borrelli (Victoria), Dr. Lauren De Rose, David Coscarella, Dr. Lisa De Rose and Dr. Jessica De Rose. Loving bisnonna to Massimo (Angela), Bianca, Frankie, Sante, Roman, Mila, Olivia and Franco.
Predeceased by her sister Livia Celentano (2021) and husband Armando (2007) and brother Ippolito Spagnuolo (2023) and wife Ada (2000). Also predeceased by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Raffaele Borrelli (Raffaella), Assunta Mirabelli (Carmine), Santo Borrelli (Vera), Pietro Borrelli (Rosina), Michele Borrelli (Virginia), Teresa Borrelli, Francesco Borrelli (Orsola), Fortunato Borrelli (Teresa), Luigi Borrelli (Concetta) and Mario Borrelli survived by wife Carol. She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews.
Our heartfelt thanks to the Bayshore PSW’s as well as Rosa from the Alzheimer’s Society for the excellent care given to our mother.
A very special thank you to Leslie for the exceptional care she provided to our mother but more importantly, the genuine love and compassion she showed towards her. She became a part of our family.
Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. Visitation on Tuesday, May 20th from 2-5pm and 7-9pm. Prayers at 4:30pm. Visiting will continue Wednesday, May 21st at the funeral home from 9:30am-10:15am. Procession to St. Angela Merici Church for a Funeral Mass at 11:00am. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
