
Obituary of Anthony Giordimaina
Passed away with family by his side at the age of 93. Loving husband to Giovanna. Proud father of Paul (MJ), David, Tony (Connie), Mike (Robyn). Cherished grandfather of Kelli (Sean), Mikey, Brianne (Mitch), Matthew (Rachel), Chris, Josh, Jewel (Justin), Noah, Jayden, Sophia (Everett), Liam, Lucas, Lilly Rose, and great-grandfather to Ophelia, Lennon, Delilah.
Anthony is survived by his sister Tessie (Charlie), his sister-in-law Lillian Giordimaina, brother-in-law George Cassar (of Malta) and will be deeply missed by his many nieces and nephews from Malta, the United States, and Canada. He is predeceased by his parents Joseph and Angelica Giordimaina, his siblings Charles, Christine, Lolly, Lillian, Joe, Mary, Maggie Cassar, and his late wife Virginia.
Anthony worked at S.S Krege for 32 years, where he was a valued and dedicated employee. He was a fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Blue Jays and would be seated for every game. He was also a proud member of the Malta United Society and had a skill for cooking. He was most known for his variety of homemade soups.
Visitation will take place at Windsor Chapel - Central Chapel (1700 Tecumseh Rd. E, 519-253-7234) on Tuesday May 20th 2025 from 2pm-5pm and 7pm-9pm. Funeral service to take place Wednesday May 21st 2025 at 10am at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Donations in memory of Anthony may be made to Hotel-Dieu Grace Health Care Foundation - Palliative Care Unit.
