Obituary of Flora Carlini

Flora passed away peacefully on May7th, 2025 at Hotel Dieu Grace Healthcare, surrounded by her family.

Reunited with her beloved husband Vincenzo and her adored son Tony Carlini.

Loving mother of Clara Carlini-Brown (Russell) and Claudia (Pasquale) Barba. Cherished and loving Nonna of Giulian (Rebecca), Antonio and Gianluca (Lauren).

Predeceased by her parents Domenico and Amelia Fraccola and her sister Gina (Antonio).

Mom was born in S. Angelo in Theodice, Cassino, Italy and later immigrated to Canada in 1957 with her parents. She met and married our Dad Vincenzo in 1960 and together they created our family. Mom loved to cook, she would often make homemade pasta, bread and pizza for her family to enjoy. She loved being with her family, especially her grandsons, they were truly her pride and joy. She was a loving and peaceful woman with the most radiant smile and clear blue eyes. She is already immensely missed.

Thank you to the wonderful and caring staff on the palliative unit at HDGH, specifically Kim, Brittany, Michelle, Griffin, Jules and Lori, who cared for our mom with such compassion and respect.

Funeral mass to be held Tuesday, May 13^th, 2025 at St. Angela Merici Church, 980 Louis Ave, Windsor, at 10:30am. In respect of Flora’s wishes following the mass a private family entombment will take place.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Transition to Betterness (T2B).
