Obituary of Clarence Rivard

Finally reunited with his beloved spouse of 69 years Norma Rivard (nee Turner), Clarence passed away on May 3, 2025, at the age of 97.     

Clarence is survived by his loving sons Raymond and Mark (Cindy). Cherished Grandchildren Ray Jr. (Crystal), Donna (Kyle), Monique (Steve), Elizabeth, and Emily. Dear Great-Grandchildren Collin, Brianna, Cameron, Asia, and Xavier. Clarence is also survived by his sister Ruth Ann and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Raymond and Jenny. Siblings Zella Anne "Toots" (Delore), Marie (Ted), Edna (John), Don (Flow), Lawrence, Joe (Loretta), Leo (Edith), Butch (Pat) and Alfred.                                                               

Clarence was known for his infectious sense of humor and his ability to bring joy into every room he entered. A proud father and a devoted "Pepe," he found immense joy in spending time with his grandchildren. Clarence and Norma created many wonderful memories taking their grandchildren on camping trips which were filled with laughter and adventure.                                                                              

His hands were always busy; whether he was tinkering with a project in his shed or helping friends and family fix anything that needed attention, Clarence was the go-to person for anyone in need. Clarence proudly was a member of the Sun Parlour Trailer Club #158, where he shared his passion for camping and outdoor activities with fellow enthusiasts and dear friends. Clarence worked for 50 years as a truck driver traveling all throughout North America, accumulating over 2 million miles accident free.

Visitation will be held at the Windsor Chapel Funeral Home - Banwell Location, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E in Windsor on Sunday, May 11, 2025 from 1:00pm until 5:00pm. As per Clarence's wishes cremation will take place.
