Obituary of Pedro Perez

It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Pedro Perez on May 2, 2025 at Berkshire Care Centre. Reunited with his beloved wife of 48 years, Teresita (2011). Cherished father of Peter and Edwin. Dear brother of Feli, Pepe, Loli, Pili, and Eduardo all of Spain, and brother in law of Rogelio (Josephine) of the Philippines, and the late Rudy (late Lorito) of Windsor. Pedro will be missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family in Canada, USA, Spain and Philippines.

Pedro was born in Spain in 1941, to Jose Maria Perez and Nicasia Resines. He spent several years living and working in the Netherlands before immigrating to Canada in 1962. In 1975, he married the love of his life, Teresita. A skilled electrician, Pedro worked for many years at Kelsey-Hayes and later at Falcon Tool and Die, where he retired after a long and dedicated career. In retirement, he found joy in woodworking, repairing things around the house, and making homemade wine.

The family would like to thank the staff of Berkshire Care Centre, especially floor 5 for all their dedicated care and compassion shown to Pedro.

Visitation will take place at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME - Banwell Chapel, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519-253-7235) on Thursday, May 8, 2025, from 10 am until time of Celebration of Life at 12:00 noon in the Chapel. Cremation to follow. Pedro will be placed with his wife Teresita at Heavenly Rest Cemetery at a later date.
