
Obituary of Vinko Lucic
It is with broken hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Vinko Lucic, a beloved Brother, and Uncle on May 2, 2025, at the age of 66. Reunited in heaven with his parents Niko and Ana Lucic. Cherished brother to late Ivo Lucic and surviving wife Mara, Cvjetko Lucic and wife Ana, Pero Lucic, Ana Josic and husband Mijo, late Jela Beketic and husband Mike, and late Janja Lucic. Adored uncle to Suzana, Niko, Sladana, Danijela, Martina, Ann-Marie, Suzie, Vera, Petar, Michael, Nicky, Melissa, and Kristina. Great-uncle to Mila, Marley, Neven, Sophia, Stella, Karlo, and Lovra. Also survived by many relatives and friends in Croatia and Bosnia. Vinko was a faithful member of St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church, and the Knights of Columbus. He took great pride in his Croatian and Bosnian culture. Vinko enjoyed being social, often times gathering with his friends to play Bocce Ball and Soccer. Vinko was a hard and dedicated worker. Above all, his family meant the most to him. It was always important for him to spend time with his loved ones bringing such joy and laughter to family gatherings. A visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd E. (519-253-7234) on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Knights of Columbus Prayers at 5;30 p.m. Funeral Service on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at 9:15am from the funeral home then to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church for Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens. As an expression of sympathy and to honor Vinko, donations may be made to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Church Building Fund.
