Obituary of Frank Rokitnicki

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Franciszek “Frank” Rokitnicki, who passed away peacefully at home on April 30, 2025, at the age of 74.

Beloved husband and best friend to Cathy. Cherished father of Rafal and his wife Margaret. Proud Dziadek of Patricia and Sarah. Frank is survived by sisters Stanislawa and Grazyna, and will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Born in Poland, Frank had a lifelong passion for soccer. He proudly played professional soccer for Odra Opole, and after moving to Canada, he continued to enjoy the game. He built a meaningful life in his new home and worked with dedication at Veltri/Flex-N-Gate, where he was employed until his retirement at age 70. Through the years, Frank formed lasting friendships and touched the lives of many who will deeply miss him.

Frank will be remembered for his love of family, his dedication to hard work, and his enduring passion for the sport he loved.

Memorial Visitation will take place at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME - Banwell Chapel, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519-253-7235) on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 3 pm until 6 pm.
