
Obituary of Yvon Paul Vaillancourt
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on April 26, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on October 24, 1942, in La Sarre, Quebec.
Beloved husband and best friend of Agathe (née Saumure), with whom he shared 60 wonderful years of marriage.
Reunited with his cherished sons, Alain (2005) and Yves (2011). Loving father-in-law to Heather (née Laliberte).
Proud and devoted grand-père to his three beautiful granddaughters: Allysha (partner Spencer), Kayla ( partner Kyle), and Katrina ( partner Charbel). Adored great-grandfather of Scarlett, Lucas, and Everly.
Loving brother of Ghislaine, Denise, Françoise, and Micheline. Loving brother-in-law to Claudette and Yvon (wife Suzanne). Cherished uncle to many. Yvon will be lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, extended family, dear friends, neighbours, and former co-workers from Fabco, where he proudly retired after 30 years of service. He was a member of the Golden Age Club (Club de l'age d'or).
A man of deep faith, Yvon was an incredible husband, a proud father, and a devoted grandfather and great-grandfather. He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and strength.
Visitation will be held at St. Anne Parish (12233 Tecumseh Rd E) on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at 10am. until the time of the Mass of Resurrection at 11:00am. A livestream of the service will be available through Windsor Chapel - LINK
Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) in Yvon’s memory.
