RUPCICH, Bob

December 15, 1953 - April 11, 2025

It is with broken hearts that we sadly announce the passing of Bob, surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 71. Beloved husband of 49 years to Diane "Dolly" Rupcich (nee Zdunich). Loving and proud father to Bobby and daughter in-law Kari of Chicago, Illinois. Son of the late Mary Rupcich (2001) and Nikola Rupcich (1999). Cherished brother to Rose Marie Mays (late John), and Nick Rupcich and family; all of Windsor, ON. Dear nephew of Helen Pasko (late John) and family of Port Colbourne, ON. Special cousin and friend to Mike Vujovich (Bev) and family of Windsor, ON. Adored uncle to Steven Rupcich (Eva). Dear son in law to late John and Lucy Zdunich. Cherished brother in-law to Rose Mary Dowhaniuk (late John), John Zdunich (late Rose), Milan Zdunich (Pat), and Chichy Katopodis (Perry); and all of their families. Bob will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Bob was a retiree of Chrysler Canada after many years of dedicated service and was a member of Unifor Local 444. He enjoyed playing baseball on several teams with mainly many teams on Drouillard Rd., and also enjoyed playing countless hours of pool. Bob lived his dream of spending winters in Tamiami Village in Fort Myers, Florida for the past 16 years. He enjoyed being a "migrating" snowbird with his friend, Earl Dugal. Bob was always grateful for all the wonderful people he met throughout his life. "Brown Bob", as he was known to so many, will be gone, but never forgotten by his family, friends and neighbours. Friends will be received at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519) 253-7235, on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Thursday, April 17, 2025 from 9:30 a.m. until time of Bob's Celebration of Life at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to Transition to Betterness (T2B), (3200 Deziel Dr. #307, Windsor, ON N8W 5K8).
