
Obituary of Bakos Youssef
Bakos Challita Youssef, born on January 18, 1950, in Tourza, Lebanon, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2025 at Windsor Regional Hospital surrounded by his adoring family.
He was the beloved husband of 53 years to Nadia Youssef (née George).
Loving father of Linda (Paul) Mancina, Joey Youssef (Marcy Hipkins), Johnny Youssef and Jimmy Youssef.
Cherished grandfather of Jaden, Jonas, Kayla, Paolo and Salvatore.
Predeceased by his siblings Antonios Challita (survived by Marie), Paul Joseph (survived by Laura), Sarkis Youssef (Yvonne), Youssef Youssef (Zarifa), Michael Youssef (Theresa), Alyia Boutros (Stephen) and Chama Nohra (Joseph). Survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Bakos proudly provided for his family and found his greatest joy in time spent with his wife, children and grandchildren. Known for his quick wit, amazing sense of humor, infectious smile and uplifting spirit, he brought joy instantly to all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered forever.
Visitation will take place at the Windsor Chapel Banwell, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E in Windsor on Tuesday April 15 from 2:00pm until 5:00pm and 7:00pm until 9:00pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. Anne's Parish in Tecumseh at 11:00am on Wednesday April 16 with an interment to follow at St. Simon St. Jude Cemetery.
