Obituary of Marianne Nostadt

Marianne Elizabeth Nostadt (Nee Renaud)

October 29th, 1937 - April 11th, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marianne Nostadt (Nee Renaud). She passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones at the age of 87. She is reunited with her husband Frank (2002).

Loving mother to Karen Kirk, Kevin (Joan Wonsch) Nostadt, Susan (Sam) Girimonte and Judy (Brad) Wylie. Cherished grandmother to Gavin (Maeghan) Kirk, Kelsey (Neal) Kirk, Kaitlyn (Karl) Kirk, Ryan (Alex) Nostadt, Matthew (Martha) Nostadt, Anthony Girimonte, Rachel Girimonte, Nicholas (Hailey) Wylie, Noah Wylie, and great grandmother to Abigaille Kirk. Dear daughter of Elmer (1960) and Violet (Nee Jobin, 2004) Renaud. Caring sister to Donald (Leah) and Carol (Jim Donaldson).

Marianne was the past president of the Canadian Association of Fire Chiefs Ladies Auxillary and a member of the Red Hat QTPies. She worked as a medical technologist for many years at the Detroit Memorial Hospital. She was a superfan of Elvis. Marianne will be greatly missed by her loving friends and family.

Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E (519-253-7234) on Monday April 14, 2025 from 2-5pm and 7-9pm. Visitation will continue at Our Lady Of Mt. Carmel Church (4401 Mt Royal Dr.) on Tuesday April 15, 2025 from 9am until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10am. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
