Obituary of Gayle Marie Watson

With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Gayle Marie Watson, who peacefully passed away surrounded by her family at Windsor Regional Hospital Met Campus on April 10, 2025, at the age of 81.

Beloved wife of the late Wayne Watson (2021).

Gayle was a devoted mother to Leigh Anne (Dave) Lefler and Randy Couture. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Matthew (Charlotte), Mark, Greg (Kathleen), and Alicia, and a cherished great-grandmother to Kayla and Ellie Mae.

Gayle was the dear sister of the late Sharon (surviving Gino) Facca, and the late Arnold Harris. She will be deeply missed by her nieces Gina and Julie.

A passionate lover of animals and an avid horse enthusiast, Gayle found joy and peace in nature. She had a keen artistic eye, and expressed herself through drawing and painting. She also found pleasure in quiet moments—reading a good book or sharing laughter over a game of cards with those she loved.

Gayle’s kind spirit, creativity, and deep affection for her family and animals will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.

Visitation will be held at the Windsor Chapel Banwell Chapel, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E in Windsor on Monday April 14, 2025 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm.  A funeral service will take place the following day April 15 at 11:00am with an interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
