Obituary of Frieda Zwiebler Haagen
Frieda Haagen, beloved mother, cherished mormor, passed away suddenly on April 8, 2025, at the Windsor Regional Hospital Met Campus, at the age of 87.
Loving wife of the late Mogens Carl Haagen (2020).
Dear mom of Jeanne (Keith) Haagen-Lebert and Helle (Tim) Little.
Dear mormor of Sean (Levi), Lyle (Mary), Blain, and olemor to Lachlan and was eagerly anticipating the arrival of her great-granddaughter.
Loving sister of Birte, Merete, Anna-Lise and predeceased by her brothers Paul, Bent, Jørgen, Ove and Steffen.
Special moster/faster to many nieces and nephews.
Born on December 20, 1937, in Denmark, Frieda carried with her the grace, strength, and quiet joy of her heritage throughout her life which she cherished and made return visits annually. She made a home full of warmth and love, where the comforting click of knitting needles and the delicate beauty of embroidery were everyday reminders of her creativity and care.
Frieda had a quick mind and a love of games - from card tables filled with laughter to cozy evenings with puzzles or word games, and a glass of lille sørt. She approached life with patience, good humor, and a generous heart.
Above all, Frieda was devoted to her family. As a mother and grandmother, she gave endlessly of herself, offering both wisdom and kindness in every chapter of life. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those she loved, and in the traditions and memories she passed down.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Visitation will take place at Windsor Chapel Banwell Chapel, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. in Windsor on Sunday April 13, 2025 from 2:00pm until 4:00pm with cremation to follow.
