Obituary of Irene Bloomfield

Irene Frances Bloomfield (nee Thrasher) passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on March 21, 2025, at the age of 73. She is now reunited with her beloved husband of over 25 years, Richard (1999).

A cherished mother to Mike and a loving grandmother to Kaila and Ryan, Irene was a source of warmth and love to those closest to her. She was predeceased by her parents, Ruby and Gordon. Irene was the dear sister of Bea, Donna, Becky, Lloyd, Stu, Art, Larry, and Gord, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Irene was known for her vibrant spirit and love for life. She found joy in many things, including playing her tambourine, dancing and listening to music, keeping active by walking, watching Coronation Street, and most of all, spending time with those she loved. Irene's ability to make others smile and share her joy will be her lasting legacy.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

At Irene’s request, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at Good Shepherd Church (462 Advance Blvd, Tecumseh) on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 12:30 pm. Arrangements entrusted to Windsor Chapel Funeral Home - Banwell Chapel (519-253-7235)
