For Donna Thibert

Passed on Friday, March 28th at the age of 86 after a long struggle with dementia. Donna leaves behind her husband, Ron, to whom she was married for 65 years. She was devoted to her kids, Glenn (Kathy), Brett (Brenda), Jeff, and Lisa. Cherished Grandma to Angela, Remy, Shayne, Jamie (2019), and Matt. Predeceased by her parents Art and Edna Poisson, and her brother Dick (Joyce).

She put her family first and was devoted to giving her children and grandchildren constant love and affection. The family trips, school projects, and sports to which she never missed a game.

Donna will be fondly remembered by many friends and relatives. In her younger years, she enjoyed bowling and playing cards with lifelong friends Frank (2022), Connie Charette, and Robbie and Ronnie Dumouchelle.

We will treasure the many beautiful memories she made with us from childhood to adulthood, and we will forever miss her presence. She was an absolute gem. A special thank you to the Nurses and staff at St. Clair Village Gossield for their outstanding care and concern for Donna.

A visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd E. (519-253-7234) on Monday, March 31, 2025 from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Parish Prayers at 4:30 p.m. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at St. Theresa's Church (1991 Norman Rd) from 9:30 a.m until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery (5005 Howard Ave). In memory of Donna, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Windsor-Essex County or Diabetes Canada.
