Obituary of Horia Nicolae Petrache

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Horia Nicolae Petrache on March 25, 2025 with his loving wife by his side. Beloved and cherished husband to Mariana for 33 loving years. Reunited with his parents in heaven Nicolae and Marieta Petrache. He will forever be missed by his family in Romania and Germany, and his many friends throughout the world.

Horia enjoyed listening to many music genres, but his favorite music was Rock and Heavy Metal. He also enjoyed watching many documentaries, no matter what the topic was he would watch and enjoy. Horia loved fishing and being in nature. His father introduced him to fishing when he was a young boy. Whenever Horia was near the water he was so calm, relaxed and most importantly he was happy. He was a good friend, making sure to lend a hand to anyone who needed help always making himself available to them. Above all else, Horia loved his wife and best friend.

A visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd E. (519-253-7234) on Friday, March 28, 2025 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will take place in the chapel on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 2:00 pm.
