Obituary of Leonard Zephire Parent

Leonard “Big Len” Parent, 85, of Kingsville passed away peacefully on March 15, 2025 with family by his side. Loving husband of 64 years to Anne Parent (Lesperance). Father to David (Elaine), James and Edward (Deborah). Grandfather to Amanda, Johnny, Jillian, Paige, Sabrina, Laura, Alexis and Gabrielle. Great grandfather to Parker and Ronan.

Len was born to Zephire and Rosalie (O’Keefe) Parent on September 23rd, 1939 in the City of Windsor. Predeceased by sisters Florence, Helen, Betty and brother Clifford.

Len was a truck driver for many years keeping his trucks in meticulous order and always wearing slacks and polo shirts to drive. He always wanted to look professional, quoting “ that’s my office”. Len took pride in everything he did and always exemplified integrity, honesty and dedication. As he did with his trucks, he did with his farm as well. Every day the grass was being cut, the leaves were being raked and sticks were being picked up. With several acres of bush and pasture he was never short of work up to his last days. As a true family man, “Big Len” will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
