Obituary of Konrad Rosenkranz-Galindo

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Retired Captain Konrad Rosenkranz-Galindo who passed away at the age of 49, on March 9, 2025. Konrad was a devoted husband, father, son, a proud veteran, and a dedicated member of the Canadian Armed Forces.
Konrad’s military career was marked by his service as a Captain in the Canadian Armed Forces, where he earned the respect of his colleagues and the admiration of all who knew him. His bravery and commitment were evident during his deployment in Afghanistan, where he served with distinction. His work and sacrifice will never be forgotten.
Outside of his military service, Konrad was passionate about the things he loved. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, whether it was exploring nature or pursuing his hobby of flying drones. Konrad found joy in sharing his life with his children, especially during quiet movie nights and adventures together. 
Konrad is survived by his loving wife, Melissa Krausse; beloved children, Finn and Bella; his mother Maria De Lourdes Rigsby; his uncle Jose-Manuel Galindo and Aunt Olivia Galindo-Muñoz; his cousins Olivia and Luis, all of his extended family and friends, both in and out of the military, especially Nick Maroukis (Laura), all of whom he deeply cherished. His legacy of love, courage, and dedication will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
Visitation will take place at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME - Banwell Chapel, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519-253-7235) on Thursday, March 20, 2025, from 6-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place on Friday, March 21, 2025, at 11:00 am in the Chapel. Friends and Family are invited to attend a celebration of life at the MAJOR FA TILSON VC ARMOURIES at 4007 Sandwich St., Windsor after the service.
